WEEKLY WRITING ANAYLSIS ASSIGNMENT 1-4

          Pop Culture Communications: Texting

          How many of us have tried calling our kids, family and friends and have our call go directly to their voice mail. However, if we send them a text right after we call, we receive a text back. It seems that we have lost the power to communicate verbally, and only thru texting are we able to connect to each other. A completely new dictionary has been written, so we can understand what those three letter symbols or letters mean.

 A person in the consumer base industry, communications is a necessary tool to be able to survive in the world of retail and advertising. I work with my kids and several young people and their communications skills seem to be limited. Most young groups that just know how to text write a formal could not resume for a job. However, I bet they could text one.

Texting has become a source for students to cheat on exams. With this source of cheating, texting has lowered the IQ of our students. Since they do not have to learn how to communicate nor do, they have to study for all those necessary exams that will help them move on in the world.

Not only has texting caused a problem in the classroom it has became a major traffic problem. With most states banning texting while driving the number of car accidents still, continue to be at an alarming number.

Instant messaging or better known as IM``s. we has parents need to understand how this form of communicates will affect our children’s lives.
